The total restyling done for the previous year in Chevrolet's sporty Z28 coupes retained some of their familiar cues in a more curvy body made of dent-resistant composite materials. Then, a convertible with a glass back window and power top arrived in the later part of 1994.

The high-performance Z28 models bear flickers of similarity to the Pontiac Firebird only that this latest rendition has achieved wider dimensions and has gained some more weight and power.

 

All Camaros include dual airbags and antilock brakes. Also, a restructured dashboard places all gauges in a semicircular and easy to view pod. It is also important to note that the Z28's 6-speed gearbox added Computer-Aided Gear Selection, which forces a first-to-fourth gear shift when accelerating from a stop under light throttle.
